Cold New Jersey

Hi everyone.... I am planning to purchase and start diving CCR this coming summer. I have been wreck diving here in NJ for a couple of years and will be completing full cave in about 2 weeks.

I am completely facinated with CCR, I think about it all the time. I can only imagine how cool it will be to be able to dive silently. So I joined the forum to start my research in ernest. Not sure why, but I recently decided to pursue the rebreather angle before I do the Trimix angle. Not sure is this is the right path. I guess I will find out.

Hi Hans,

Welcome to Rebreather World IMHO as long as you are profishent with buoyancy and being Task loaded that is fine, after all you would have to be anyway to start diving Trimix and when learning CCR you are starting over anyway.

Any ideas on which unit???

And close to The Little Diveshop of Horrors in Hackettstown as well.

When you want to look at somewhere near 30 rigs in various states of overhaul, repair, modification, and manufacture give a ring.

Re: Cold New Jersey

Hans,
Looking forward to seeing you out off of Jersey with your new unit next summer.
Check out our upcoming boat schedule for next season...we have alot of CCR divers aboard and it will be great!

Good Luck.
By the way, who are you doing your cave training with?

Re: Cold New Jersey

A little late, I haven't been getting my notification emails from the board.

I do my cave training with Michael O'Leary in FL. I have chosen the Meg and I believe I will be training with Andrew Driver.

Thanks for all the help Deli.
