Hello and Thanks,

Hi All,
I've been lurking a while. But, just returned from DEMA, and have to say thank you to everyone from Rebreather World and the industry in general. After completing my to-do list I had almost an entire day to spend learning about rebreathers. I started the show not knowing what I didn't know, and unsure of how my partner and I are going to make a decision about which rebreathers to purchase. I feel that I went a long way toward learning how we will define our requirements, differentiate one unit from another, and ultimately make our decision.
I was greatly impressed by everyone that went out of their way to help with my education. Virtually every manufacturer took the time (usually 1-2 hours) to walk me through their unit and discuss it's merits as well as those of their competitors. I would like to commend most on maintaining a positive tone and avoiding any disparaging remarks about others.
Special thanks to Kevin Gurr, Peter Readey, Leon Scamahorn, Kim Smith, AP, and David Weber. There were obviously others but these where the ones I had an opportunity to spend time with. Thanks again.
Hopefully I'll have a list of not already answered questions to ask over the next several months.

Cheers,
Fred

And a great job on the party!

Re: Hello and Thanks,

Fred,

Welcome on board!
I am glad to hear that you had a blast at DEMA! It sounds like that you educated your self all the way about what's out there in Rebreather-Land ;-)

Keep those questions coming, that is what Rebreather World is here for, so you can make a great decision down the road with what rig you want to go.

Again, Welcome to Rebreatherworld.

cheers,

RBN
