Tech Diver/Cad Jockey

Hello All,
Well my name is Matt Rece and I am living in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I moved down here after living in Boston and CT for a bit and growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am currently an Open Circuit Trimix diver (yes I know tell me about it) but I am working towards coming up with a unit.

On a different note I work for a software copany called SolidWorks and we write very high end CAD and analysis software. Many of the manufactures do already use it. Being on the technical side of my company I have lots of experience with the software and I would be happy to help anyone out with using it or anyother CAD application. I can help out with any design projects or ideas. If you want to get an idea of what our software is used for go to SolidWorks - 3D Mechanical Design and 3D CAD Software for more info.

I look forward to hearing from all the home builders and mfger's and people with good ideas that they want to have modeled up for production.

thanks,
Matt

Hi BullHead,
Thanks for the welcome, I would be happy to help out with answering any questions or helping with the modeling. I was over in Sweden last May visiting the Koenigseg factory. They use SoliidWorks to design their supercars!! I was helping them with some issues they were having and I was presenting in Vasteras at our Northern Europe conference. It was a great placec to visit. I would love to go back someday.

Well let me know if you need any help.
Matt

Hi BullHead,
Thanks for the welcome, I would be happy to help out with answering any questions or helping with the modeling. I was over in Sweden last May visiting the Koenigsegg factory. They use SolidWorks to design their supercars!! I was helping them with some issues they were having and I was presenting in Vasteras at our Northern Europe conference. Wow!
So you have been in the Koenigsegg factory! I would like too see it too .
Isn't OCC using Solidworks too? They build great bikes anyway.
I work for SAAB Automobile AB but I'm on leave of absence.
(The big sparepart warehouse, we ship all over the world from there)
I have been in Ft Lauderdale twice, last time February 2004. No diving just sunbathing and relaxing.

I will let you know if i need any help. Thanks!

How could you come to Fort Lauderdale and not dive? We have some amazing wrecks to dive. Let me know when you will be down again and we can dive you want.

Oh and yes OCC uses SW.... though sometimes they are not the best users
