going to ccr

Hello all I'm a hyperbaric tech in Jacksonville Fl. I am also a scuba instructor and Iantd Adv eanx and scr (Dolphin/ Atlantis of course), I will be graduating from nursing school in 2 months and will go trimix and ccr in 07 my queston is
if I go cave what would be a 1st multi use as well as best and simplest rebreather to hae for 1st one , I'm not a scuba dirtbag, I take care of my gear (both recreationaland technical after each dive I just don't think it wise to plunk down a ton of cash to have a set of gear I need to have a phd touse and maintain .Some advisment would be most appreciated< I am looking to mentor under someomne if need be
