Belated intro and advice please

I've been a (mostly) silent member on here for a long time, mainly cause I've only just got a Rebreather - a Classic KISS still languishing in my bedroom! Plan is to do the course in early December. I've already gained a lot from just reading the boards but thought I would say hi and also ask for some advice.
I have a moderate amount of OC experience to Normoxic Trimix and Cave level and made the change to a Rebreather because of gas logistics and safety aspects for deeper dives.
So the plan as it stands is having (hopefuly) got the course done to get some experience in the quarries this winter and then head to the Red Sea for a Northern Wrecks Safari trip with my other half (who also now has a CK) as well as 2-3 mates for a week of 30m depth and 30m vis diving. We would obviously need a liveaboard able to support Rebreather divers with O2 (and possibly lime and cylinders?) Any advice on which boats to look for (and which to avoid!) and operators to get in touch with gratefully recieved!

Spike,
Welcome to Rebreatherworld.com!
I am sure there are several members who can give you pointers about live-aboards that are good for Rebreather diving. Please, also take a look in our section of RB friendly Dive Operators, that might be a good start.

again, welcome on board.

Best,
RBN

Thumbs up Re: Belated intro and advice please

Hi Spike,

I'm picking up a Rebreather CK#051 off Steve this weekend. No course booked yet but a trip to Cyprus to do MOD1 with Rich Stevenson in Spring looks favourite.
