Hi to all at Rebreather World

Thought I would introduce myself as I may need good advise in the near future as I am just about to do my courses with Steve Philips on an inspiration. I am a TDI & PADI Instructor from Ireland

where I ran a technical Liveaboard on the North Coast. I have done a lot diving off Malin Head with Geoff @ Divenorth. In the last 14 months I have moved to Tenerife and bought a dive centre. My goal is to introduce and teach more techincal diving here. If it all goes belly up I will dive with my yellow friend, sunbath and drink sangria together in the afternoons.

Hi Dave,
Welcome to Rebreather World. I heard you bought Ian's old unit. Good luck with it. I'd say Tenerife is more hospitable than the north coast of Ireland and Malin Head but is the diving as good?

Good to hear from you. Malin has all the great wrecks but as you say the weather is unforgiving sometimes. Tenerife has great diving for everyone but you may think it an excellent training place being so used to Malin. We have some fantastic drop offs to any depth and underwater mountains. The marine life is good and we also have wrecks but as I said maybe not to your standard.

Good to see you finally took the plunge and welcome to Rebreather World you will find most bit's of info here and some extremely knowledgeable CCR divers to boot.

Did you buy a unit for Nicky as well or should I not mention the war!!

Katherine is having twins next March so I think it will be a while before I get to see your new dive centre.

Just read your post. Twins! (can't you talk her into ccr instead of twins)
Barrie we can't belive your good news, between you and Geoff you will have to open up a divers creche in Malin Head instead of a divers lodge.

I have just bought a unit for me for now. I am doing my course with Steve Philips in November. I am bringing him out to Tenerife.
