Well I'm not a Rebreather diver yet but hoping to get some insight so I can make an informed decision as to which unit will best fit my needs....for right now I'm still wasting all that o2 and He with OC

Here's a great big "Howdy" to another Houstonian. Welcome to Stuart Ford's "Black Sheep Squadron" of re-breather pilots!

We've got a great group of people here who dive all of the commercial models of re-breather, and some they just made up on the spot!

Aside from our DIY'ers, we've got Alpinists, "Russians", and about every type and stripe of Rebreather diver that exists.

Dig in, read a lot, don't be afraid to ask questions, and enjoy! Tell us some more about your diving experiences, and where you want to go in the future!

PM me, and if you'd like to get together, I can show you some of my gear, and talk the secret language of the "Dark Side" of diving.

Thanks for the welcome....

I've been diving for about 20 years, but only recently started getting in to the technical aspect....or at least geting the training for it, right now I am Normoxic Trimix certified and am trying to get some experience under my belt...infact I'm heading up to Virginia to do some deepish wreck diving tomorrow, and I also signed up to be a deep support diver for the Good Enough Springs Project here in texas....Once all this is second nature.....I'll be heading into the caves......hopefully on a rebreather.

20years diving

From what I gather Rebreather's used to big a big step change, but now with forums like here it's becoming a more common switch. I'm sure if/when you make the switch you'll wonder why you never did it earlier

That's the impression I get from most "switchers"
