![]() | Back on my L's Hi everyone @ RW We'll I've just this minute registered and look forward to what lay's in store for me in the quiet world of bubble free diving. Although I haven't yet made the purchase of my 1st CCR I'm favouring the Classic KISS and am quite excited about this next step in my diving life. I'm sure that I will be posting a few questions over the coming weeks (I know there is a lot to learn) but in the mean time I will spend some time searching around the site for useful hints. Regards, Simon Brisbane, Aust |

Regards, Simon Brisbane, Aust I am sure you will enjoy Rebreather World. There is a great bunch of knowledgeable people here. And the KISS has a dedicated following here in Oz. I myself dive an Inspiration, so can't really help out with KISS questions. Good luck with your Rebreather adventure and keep us posted with the progress you make.

DDD can help you out a lot and it is well worth having Jason go over the pro's and con's of the units he is familiar with. I'm not sure if Jason at DDD can instruct on the Classic. I know he can on the Sport KISS. Another option that you really should look at is the COPIS Meg. About the same money as the CK and still a manual KISS style unit but a lot tougher. You will find some info on it here on Rebreather World. If I can be of any help in either supplying or being your instructor on a KISS or a Meg please just shout. All the best Steve

I have not owned CK but I have dove the copis and it is a really great piece of kit. It is a very tough rebreather that has more recovery modes than the kiss and can be easily upgraded to a full meg at a later date.I see that you have an interest in the Classic KISS. I can never walk in that shop just to get some airfills... ![]() Funnily enough, jas and I were talking today about Classic Kiss vs Copis Meg, and I don't think anyone can deny that there probably isn't a better KISS-Style breather out there at the moment... Good luck with the search, we'll have to catch up soon for a beer and a chat... ![]() Cheers, CD
