Another stereotypical Noob thread

Hi. New registree. Probably shouldn't even be allowed to *read* the word "rebreather" yet as a relatively inexperienced OC diver (plain old PADI AOW coffin-filler-in-waiting).

But curious, so signed on to lurk and learn. I'll try not to take up much space.

This is an awesome place!

Some extremely knowledgeable people in here.
Very friendly and helpful.

The "intelligentsia" in here are no snobs, so
your demure approach, though as sound as it may be,
is not an absolute requirement.

Note on postings:
If you behave, you will be treated gently and with respect.
Your opinion will be respected if it appears to be honest.
Make sure that your claims to facts can be substantiated.

Feel free to ask questions, but before you do so, look around and search the forum for answers to your questions.
(Best to avoid too many, too frequent, repetitions)
