Hi All

Been Lurking for a little whie but just finally dove with someone who was on a CCR last weekend. I've been diving for a long time and watching that Rebreather has definitly got my interest! Actually, I'm drooling.

I reconize some of the folks on here from other boards as I'm sure they will me. I have a lot of experience diving but am back to total newbi when it comes to Rebreather.

My wife and I own a Dive Shop in Juneau, Alaska

Hey, Dave!

Good to see you here! Welcome to the board!

I also dive a KISS Classic. What unit was your buddy diving that started you drooling?

Re: Hi All

Thanks Guys,

He was on a Sprit KISS. In my couple days of research, I'm leaning towards the Classic KISS. Seems like for living where I do and the diving I do it just makes sense plus long term economics.

Nitrox doesn't cost me anything but compressor time but O2 and HE have to be imported from Seattle. So considering that I used about 400' of Nitrox for the 2 dives that we did and he use 13' of air and 13' of O2 along with 1 canister of scrubber. I can see where it would pay off quick if you throw HE into the mix.

Jake, when you going to throw that thing in a bag and hop a flight down here??

John, you know you guys are always welcome as well. BTW, I remembered your post on NWD about getting trained on the Rebreather and went back yesterday and reread all of them.

Thanks again everyone,

Dave
