Hola from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Hello, I just finished my O2ptima course with Mike, in this side of Mexico, on the Pacific, with very nice spots to dive (besides Los Arcos). I am a marine biologist focus on corals and other invertebrates, so it will be great to know about studies using rebreathers.

Hi Mike,

Just got back to the UK and the stuff you sent me was there - I really can't thank you enough as I'm off to Geneva this afternoon to pick up my Meg and do my cross-over course. I take it you've got your Dive-rite HH HID by now - Rather nice arn't they!!!!!

Hope to get the chance to go diving with you again in the near future - Regards to your Missus

Is there any rebreather support in Puerto Vallarta? Can you get oxygen?

Hey Bruce,

I'm suporting and teaching one new rebreather facility and IANTD training facility in Guadalajara trough Protec. They have plans to open one store in Vallarta but will take a while. For now they have Extend Air for sell, 4 O2ptimas and 13cf Al tanks for rent.
If you need 02 they are working together with the Scubapro dealer in Mexico, his address is www.vallartech.com or you can contact Pedro MR, the guy start this thread; he is marine biologist and work with them. They can supply 02, stages, private boat and great service. Even if you need rent tanks from Azul Sin Limites, the rebreather training facility, they take care for you.
If you need any advice on that area or in La Paz area just send a e-mail or PM.
