Hello from Canada

I'm a Canadian diverwho just relocated to Ottawa, after spending 20+ years diving up and down the coast of British Columbia.

I dive a Russian IDA-64 CC oxygen rig (shallow dives) and Fenzy adaptations (pendulum rigs) for SCC nitrox a little deeper. Currently building slowly a homebuilt CC rig (KISS).

The IDA rig is a great shallow water rig, light and back-mounted so never in the way. Other than the depth restriction (as with any O2 rig) it is sweet.

My email is thlavac@sympatico.ca

Welcome to Rebreather World Tom. I am sure you will find lots of good homebuild ideas here.
Not sure why anyone who dives would want to leave BC though

If I told you that I had more then 5 unexplored cave systems in Asia would want to make you leave. With this and Pattaya what more could anybody want in live. At the Yamashiro right now and will start diving tomorrow. Hoping weather and currents will work in are favor.

Bruce, I am planning to visit you next year. Hopefully we can hook up in October and do some caves. But my question for Tom was why leave BC for Ottawa, Thailand is another matter. I loved it over there
