Hello my name is Leigh Bishop
I’m a keen wreck diver and I enjoy taking the odd underwater photo. I’ve been diving rebreathers since the early 90’s, test dived a few with a certain Mr Palmer back in the old days when he was kicking about and have dived lots of different ones over the years since. Remember standing on Poole quay once with DT & Phil short and a strange looking contraption we were diving that later became know as the inspiration, Dave always said he was going to build a rebreather and said when he eventually builds one we could have one, still waiting but in the meantime I got myself a nice fibre glass cased example which worked well for many years. Worked on the development of the Ouroboros as a test diver and needless to say currently own one, (unit no3 by the time we had built 1& 2 no 3 looked the better choice!! Only joking) Took hold of a tidy little evolution recently which I borrowed from AP Valves as my Ouroboros was stuck in the arctic somewhere and I had some UK dives booked.

I’ve lost some friends over the years on rebreathers so always treat those little things called scrubbers with the TLC they need.

I’ve never been one for posting on forums over the years as I never find the time but you never known I may find 5 mins spare between keeping my three kids quiet & diving shipwrecks.

I work in the fire service and have my own website which I built all by myself & is all about shipwreck’s www.deepimage.co.uk
