![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hi from a Wannabe Hi, I've been lurking for a little while and the message suggesting that I introduce myself has finally spurred me into action. My wife and I are UK-based, primarily BSAC trained, wreck-oriented, wannabe Rebreather divers, at the stage of trying to confirm that we need/want to go down that route, which units we would buy if/when we do and who we would get training from. So, what I've seen here already is of huge relevance and use. Back to lurking, enjoying the humour, soaking up the information and trying to avoid rushing into a purchase... I must shake off that reputation of only buying water-soluble dive kit Cheers, Phil |

Course is booked for November.Plenty of info to catch up with, if you have question ask. ![]() Now, there's just all that reconfiguration to get sorted.... |

I don't mind admitting that I'm quite daunted (as well as excited) by the whole thing. I'm doing my course with Rich Stevenson, so I should be in good hands. Thanks, Phil

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Not a Wannabe any more (was Re: Hi from a Wannabe) Well, I can finally count myself amongst rebreather divers now. I completed my Mod 1 and Advanced Rec Trimix with Rich Stevenson yesterday after a week of flat calm seas and sunny skies in Plymouth (yes, in November, really). I really enjoyed the course, despite all those drills (especially the solenoid stuck open drill) and am now looking forward to a chilly winter building up time and skills. Thanks to everyone at Deep Blue Diving and my fellow course members Craig, Paul and Spen in particular for putting up with me. Cheers,
