Aloha from the paradise of the Pacific and home to Hawaii's Rebreather and Technical Headquarters...Konaquatica Dive Center. Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm Jim Holt the owner/operator and have just registered under the handle "Konaquatica". I personally invite you to pack your rebreather(s) and come diving on the world-famous Kona coast !

Konaquatica is an IANTD Platinum facility and I dive and teach the O2ptima, Inspiration (Classic, Evolution & Vision), Megalodon, Kiss (Classic & Sport) and Cis-Lunar. I am also trained and certified on the Prism, MK 15 - 15.5 - 16 and the CCR 1000.

So let's look forward to not only sharing experiences and information on this forum, but to doing some amazing diving together. I (and Konaquatica) stand-by ready to help you do just that with our boat, fill station (2 Haskels - high pressure O2, nitrox, trimix, heiox), consumables, onboard cylinders for all major rebreathers (travel light), selection of offboard stages, consumables including sofnolime, sodasorb and Extend-Air cartridges, spare parts, plus much more. Oh, and we do recreational diving and snorkeling too, plus the manta ray night dive so you don't have to leave your significant other out !

I am currently offering quality CCR training from entry-level through full trimix on multiple rebreathers here in Hawaii. Also Cavern and Technical Wreck courses. So whether you really want to explore our deep drop-offs, pinnacles, lava tubes, caves, wrecks and reefs with your rebreather or simply want to communicate and exchange ideas over this forum, I look forward to connecting with you and other new CCR diving friends here at RebreatherWorld. Yes we still have that great boat and have actually improved it. October should be great diving here, but don't expect a humpback whale to swim right over your head just like the last time...that's a little early for the humpbacks who typically don't arrive until November - December.

We have some great new dive sites we've discovered since the last time you were here in Hawaii. I don't think you'll need much help talking Ron into coming out and diving with us again. He's been looking forward to it. We'll look forward to seeing and diving with you in October. Mahalo.

It was good to see you again at the Long Beach show. I don't think we've bumped into each other since the last Blue Holes trip.

You will definitely be seeing Lynn and I this fall.

Stefan - Thanks for the welcome. Konaquatica Dive Center is indeed already in the Rebreather-Friendly Destinations database.

John - I don't know when I'll be back in Florida diving since I've been pretty busy here diving and running Konaquatica. While I have one nice cave I'll take you in when you're here, I'm still exploring and looking for new, virgin caves. Have some leads I'm working on. This in addition to some wrecks, lava tubes and caverns. So it would be especially great to dive some caves in N. Florida with you and I hope that happens very soon too, along with your trip to Kona. All the best to you and your wife and our friends at Dive-Rite. Enjoy Phishheads !

Bruce and Lynn - It has been a long time and yes, I think the last time was during the Blue Hole exploration expedition. I look forward to your visit with Lynn. Great seeing you at the show too. I hope you consider Konaquatica as a brand new asset for your endeavours, as well as a place to have a heck of a lot of fun.

Ron - While we haven't had the pleasure yet, I wouldn't be surprised if you are soon on our boat in Kona and we're heading out to do some amazing diving. Let's look forward to that. Jim Holt runs a first-class operation.

He also has a very complete rental suite of equipment for OC diving, all of it in excellent condition.

Instructors, do not hesitate to use him for openwater checkout dives for students or book his boat for leading your own dive trips.
