Hi All

Hello for all rebreathers divers

I'm Jeff, i'm living in France in Var near the sea. i'm TDI instructor trainer, and make dives with Submatix CCR rebreather.
Training course rebreather is my Job, and just Nitrox, Trimix and rebreather training course. In france last year i'm working with Penny, to make a good standard training for the rebreather.
Regards
Jeff

Salut Jeff,

Soit le bienvenu ici.

While you are here, can tell me more about the CE certification of the Submatix SMS?
Is it fully qualified?

Amitiés.

Howdy Jeff!!

You are not far from where I live. I am over in Nice. We should talk some time about the submatix's mccr. I would be interested in trying the unit and maybe doing some training.

Cheers!!

Salut Jeff and welcome!
I'd like to congratulate you for the great work you're doing in France together with others (F. Brun, Aldo Ferrucci...) for developping our activity in a very conservative diving environment / industry. Bravo!
Good to have you on this forum where as you may already know, you'll find lots of valuable information and expertise.
Do not hesitate to ask around and to the few Francophone on the list if ever you need help.
Buzz me if you ever come to Chicago.
A+
Philippe

Re: Submatix

Hello ,

Thanks everybody for your congratulations, it's very nice. because the french law, it's not easy to make rebreather diving.

For CE submatix, i have some news. i now that all tests are Ok for Xt et SMS. I'm waiting just the Paper CE. it's very important for me. I have make a TDI training course for CCR SMS, and i can't training it, because i don't have this paper. immédialty after receive, i put it on my web site.
i'm diving only with the CCR since 3 months, it's really a good rebreather. actually i'm testing a new Oxyscan with 2 sensors in one hole in inhale bag.
and in future, Submatix make a electronic contact in oxyscan for pilot a electronic oxygen valve.
prehaps this post it's not a a good place ?
regards
Jeff

Re: Hi All

Hi Jeff, welcome to Rebreather World.
Nothing wrong with the location of your post. It's your thread.
Does the Submatix mCCR have only the two sensors you mentioned or a third one?

Hello Nick,

You can dive at Port Vendres, Colioures or Cerbères or go to Spain (Port La Selva).
I know one Rebreather friendly dive center, it's Sport Pulsion at Port Vendres (one of my friend is diving OC there and they told him that I would be welcomed with mi mCCR).
I will be there in july (don't know when yet).

Amitiés.
