High air consumprion was one of the many reasons I went CCR too, strangely on the odd occasion I dive O/C it seems to have gone down (most people say it goes up after diving a Rebreather). Don't forget to adjust bailout calculations for your high surface air consumption if you decide to go for a Rebreather. Lots of info and good people on this site - enjoy. Neil
