Hello from a new Meg diver in Michigan

Hello,

I’ve been enjoying this site for awhile now and thought I should introduce myself. I just finished my Meg training in May with Ron Benson. The course was a lot fun with a good group of divers.

I started out on an IDA71 and decided to move up to a Meg (unit #239). The IDA was great start and a good learning experience. If you’re interested I posted some pics of the CL fully disassembled - http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jeff.hunter/IDA71CL.htm).

Now I’m taking my time with the Meg. I already have a lot of OC dives planned for the summer so I won’t be fully converted until the fall.

Hi bud,

I hear you've had a nice start to the summer with oodles of nice weather. You know what that means, fall is going to suck!

Whatever happened to your old dive buddy -- still doing the flying thing?

We'll have to do that beer next time you're around N FL

Cheers

Yeah, we got in 7 dives on lake Michigan the weekend before last. Bottom was 42F, above 30' was around 46F. Max RT was around 75 minutes.

That's why I'll be in Florida...

and then some. Now he's a firearms instructor with a whole arsenal of new toys (pun intended).

I tried convincing him that buying a rebreather would be good way to get back into diving but he didn't bite.

Yup, sorry I missed you last time. Wayne kept me busy diving and I was just happy to be in the water.
