![]() ![]() | hi from tokyo, japan hi everyone i joined u guys today. although i have dove for 25 years and logged 1240 dives in asia, moldives, micronesia, australia, north and south americas, i am a novice Draeger's Dolphin user. I have a lot of qustions to ask but have a hard time finding someone who may answer them. rebreather diving has not become popular in japan, yet. my first question would be how long the shelf time of Draeger's Dive Sorb is. i know it can be used for three hours of diving after it is packed in a canister, but does anyone know how long the sealed package lasts in a room temperature? ken chung ar tokyo |

The expiration date should be on the original container of all sorb packages. However, if you bought a fresh sorb supply, the shelf life is generally about 5 years based on the expiration dates of my containers. They need to be stored in a cool and dark environment. I usually keep them either in the closet or the bottom shelf in the dive room. |
