![]() | Rather fresh Meg diver We arrrived from Sharm el Sheikh 8. of May where we took the Megalodon training course with Chris Hutchison (megalodontraining.com). It was a very good course and we learned a lot >1000 min of bottom-time makes the muscle memory better I hope... Can really recommend his course! Although returning to Norway was a bit disapointing, on the first dive I felt like a beginner again... Improving for every dive though. Anne |

Welcome to Rebreather World. On my 20th + hr, (not counting class) I was finally able to feel in controll of my buoyancy. I am told that that is about the norm. When they say it is like starting over, They ain't lying! It does get better, so hang in there and congrats on your new venture in ccr diving. It was a very good course and we learned a lot >1000 min of bottom-time makes the muscle memory better I hope... ![]() | Re: Rather fresh Meg diver Thanks! Still working a bit on placement of weights. After a while the air seems to gather in the boots of my drysuit... Thought the unit was lighter at the top, but I actually tip forwards if I relax.. What do other drysuit Megalodon-divers out there do? Any recommendations? Anne |

Now in warm water diving I use some counter lung weights and thats it - If I put on my dry suit the old boouyancy rockets up so I need 5kg - 11 pounds which I have on my harness at hip level. that probably doesnt help you much....sowwwy!

![]() | Re: Rather fresh Meg diver Thanks everyone for the help! I try to dive at least once a week, and improve every dive. Although have quite a lot of weights. In warm water I used only one weight on each bottle, and at the end of the course I was very comfetable with the unit. But after warm water diving it is often a bit accustoming when getting back home. I am 170 cm, I am not that good in how much this is in foot, but according to google I am about 10 cm taller than you Heather? Looking forward to this weekend og diving, as we are going over to the western part of Norway. The visibility is supposed to be 50-60 m there now Anne |

![]() ![]() | Re: Rather fresh Meg diver Hi Anne. Nice picture!! It's a bit different back in a drysuit isn't it!I'm down to just 6kgs on my belt now-in the beginning I felt that one minute I was too heavy and the next I was too light-it just takes a bit of getting used to. Enjoy your diving and say hi to Fredrik. Cheers Clive |
