![]() | Hi all, I am an OC diver that wants to get into CCR. I have been diving for about 20 years, and think it is time to take another step forward. I am in the Hosuton Texas area (USA) and would be pleased to talk to other like minded divers in the region. I am also wondering about some of the CCR I see that are "army surplus" can they be trusted? what are the problems that these might entai, or are there too many to list? | Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: new to this stuff Welcome to Rebreather World, Roger. ![]() If you're referring to the mothballed Navy MK15 CCR that have been popping up on eBay, use our search engine(search "MK15") and you'll get plenty of threads regarding that rebreather as well as the ones from eBay. There are a couple of current and former MK15 divers on the board as well as Kevin Juergensen ('hey dude") who has been refurnishing and builds new electronics for them. In the Links section, under Manufacturers and Biomarine/Carleton you'll also find some good resources about the MK15/CCR1000. ![]() |
