![]() | Just finished my KISS training!! Hi everyone! I've been reading postings on rebreatherworld for a while now under my husbands login but decided I should get my own username since we both just finished the TDI KISS training this past weekend. The training was great and not as hard as I had feared. For me, I think having done OC tech training helped - switching to bailout is a no brainer and I've had a few dives with some serious task loading. Obviously, the tasks were different, but the OC tech training gave me the confidence to know I can handle task loading underwater. Of course, having great instructors also helps (thanks Dan and Jay!).I was seriously considering postponing the training due to the water temperatures (high 40s/low 50s) but I'm glad I decided to go ahead since I can now start logging hours. My hubby and I own a Classic KISS. We held off on the second unit until I was sure I would like rebreather diving and so I could decide if I wanted a Classic or Sport. I'm almost positive I want to go with the Classic. Although I'm a long way from 'owning' rebreather diving (especially doing any deco on it), I'm really excited to start logging some hours. If anyone is looking for a buddy to dive at Dutch Springs, PM me. My husband is a DM for the LDS so I often go up with him and need someone to dive with. I'm even willing to dive with bubble blowers if it means I get to log more hours on my unit, er, I mean our unit. BTW - Anyone want a set of double 85s? Liz |

![]() ![]() | Re: Just finished my KISS training!! Welcome, Liz! There seems to be two "enclaves" of KISS divers forming in the USA - one here in the Pacific Northwest and the other in New Jersey......or should I say "Joysey"? Best regards! - John |
