![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Must... make... first... post OK, this site keeps nagging me to make my first post. I think its a subliminal thing. Here goes: I've been diving off New Jersey for 5 years now. We also head to the Caribbean on occasions, where I do a lot of photo and video. Last year I finished my Trimix cert, and have been diving more tech boats up here. This exposed me to quite a variety of Rebreather divers. I was full of questions. I've been reading a lot about different units and researching as much as I can. I liked the simplicity of the KISS and made the mistake of trying one. I'm hooked. It's on order, and we are working on the dates for training. I've been lurking for a little bit, and trying to absorb as much as possible. There seems to be quite a wealth of knowledgeable divers here. If nothing else, you have given me a number of very good questions to ask my instructor (lucky him). Ok, if it's all right with you all, I'll go back to lurking until I know enough to open my mouth. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Must... make... first... post I went with the classic. It will be a while, but I want to use Trimix in it for some deeper dives. I get cold on those long hangs with mix. I don't mind the length, its the cold. Most of our tech dives are in the 170-230 range. |
