Re: Titanium Inspiration case

Will all versions have holes in the housing? (I imagine it's easier "getting stuck" into something when penetrating a wreck).

Re: Titanium Inspiration case

Can make any version you want, with or without holes. Holes are mainly for weight saving, since titanium is not as light as most people think.
They are good for flooding the case quickly and for quick drainage, but a smooth back is not a problem, but will be a little bit heavier.
I don't like to use thinner material than 3 mm to save possible damage to hoses + the case is super strong.

Re: Titanium Inspiration case

Michael,

Same question as everyone else: What price do you have in mind for the Al and Ti versions? Will it be the same price for the back as well as for the top loaded versions?

Re: Titanium Inspiration case

I'm still sitting looking at it and wondering how to attach my argon and lamp.
Currently they are effectively 'further out' than the gas cylinders so the valves/switches are all easy to reach.

Putting them on the curved back wouldn't work as that would be too far to be an immediate grab for a stiff old beggar like me.

Oh well. When Michael stops being coy about the price he's thinking of, if we aren't all reeling in shock, I can ask about custom and get him to build me one with wings.

I have a similar question..... I am wondering if there is a way that a bottle could be mounted on the top... like mine is now... see my pic. and or if it could be done on the base in some way...

Re: Titanium Inspiration case

hi everyone, thanks for taking an interest, nice to have some feedback.
will send new pictures fullyloaded with argon and battery pack.
am also old and stiff, would have trouble to turn off backups or argon werever they were, think its a problem with most boxes. extensions to turn off the v
alves is maybe the way to go for us less supple divers.
the price of the ali version will be around 400pounds the ti version is around 970pounds the workmanship is top class.
top loading or back loading is the same price, but the back loader is more compact, only 21cm deep 21cm wide 60cm high including foot

The cases look great but for those prices you can get either 2 travelframes instead of the ali version or almost 5 travelframes instead of the titanium version.

Re: Titanium Inspiration case

I woudl personaly love to see a titanium or aluminum case made to the specs of the original case, the one on here looks like it could get you hooked pretty easily
