![]() ![]() | Introducing myself Hello there I am a new member and I would like to say hello to all of you and to introduce myself. My name is Felix. I have been a rebreather user since 2000 but have not done as much Rebreather dives as I should. I was first certified in SCUBA by BSAC in 1969 (a young boy...hehe) After 2 and ahalf years in the military I worked as a Commercial Oil-Rig Diver with MacDermot Off-Shore Diving Services in off shore oil fields in Indonesia between 1974 and 1978. I then went back to school and read Marine Biology at the University of Hawaii. In 1994 I became a PADI Instructor. Now I am both a PADI Master Instructor (#62310) and a TDI Rebreather Instructor. I have todate logged over 6,000 plus dives and no showing no sign of slowing down. In 2001 I became part owner and Chief Operating Officer of Pro Dive, Fort Lauderdale till 2003. Those 3 years were some of my best diving years...met lots of great people and had lots of fun. In 2004 my Dad was diagnose with terminal liver cancer and so I returned home to the country of my birth, Singapore, to spend time with him. Although I missed my life in the USA after having spend over 20 years there, I am happy to be back in Asia where I am close to some of the best dive spots in the world. I recently went to Sipadan in Borneo and relived a week of fantastic diving much like it was when I first dove there 20 years ago! Currently I own a Draeger Dolphin and I would like to hook up with like-minded divers. My passion is U/W photography. If you are interested to meet up, please email me at huangfelix@gmail.com.
