new member from Brazil

Hi all,

I am a new member living in São Paulo, Brazil.
Hope to share some stories and learn a lot about CCRs with you all.
I have no experience with CCRs but I am organizing my life to get an OPTIMA this year.

Welcome ! In Sao Paulo a few years ago but did not find any dive operators. (business) Is there a large dive industry ?

ALAN, we don't have a large dive industry. In Sao Paulo you can find dozens of dive centers. Maybe 4 big ones with decent infrastructure (I work with one of them). The Rebreather industry is almost non-existing, maybe 5 or 6 SCR instructors, no CCR instructors living here.
You are from S.Africa, nice. I dove there one year ago: Umkomaas (tiger sharks) and Sodwanna bay. Loved it all the way. Also went for a couple of days to Mozambique (for the Zambezi sharks).
