Hi Larky

The water is approx 25 deg C - with some areas on the shoal at 23 deg C. Richards Bay has one very large wreeck which we try and dive every 3months or so. There is no operator working here we hire a fishing boat and train the skipper in dive procedures and go ! Most of our best diving is at Sodwana 2hr north of us where there are lots of operators.

Hi Alan,

Sounds good, I live a little closer to the Equator but 23 to 25 will work. I e-mailed the outfit you mentioned in an earlier post to ask about sofnolime. I will prolly take the bus from the airport straight down to their facility and do some dives on Aliwal and Protea before heading North. Is there also an Rebreather friendly outfit at Sodwana? What about Mozabique?

I would also like to buy a couple of stage bottles and some high pressure hoses for my booster pump, do you know of anyone who can supply them? I remember Underwater World in Durban had a good range of kit but I imagine booster pump hoses are not sort of thing they are likely to have in stock?
