![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | sven it was a pretty simple design. can type scrubber from pvc, flat hose for the lungs, old metal reg sliced up for the adv, single stage electronics using the oopic pic to an lcd display three sensor, no housings for the electronics just potted them in casting resin. manual o2 and by way of toggle valves. al straped to an old bc. battery pods where pvc pipe glued closed and throw aways. the dsv was the hard part never did get one that i really liked and was not going to spend the money at that time on a divematics one. several of the electronics will be coming over to the new biopak 240. changing for new unit 2 lcd displays with reed switches in casting epoxy no fancy cases, controllers 2ea oopic s version b 31 i/o channels and 7 analog inputs per unit new frog dsv when it comes out modified for oc bailout. anybody got a regulator suggestion watt mizer solinoid also epoxy encapulated depth sensor added to one controller hud added to the other had thought of grandure and including deco, figured that would be a good way to get bent will be using a mag ring to trip the switches no fancy litle machining. i have the factory aga mask for the biopak will need to make a blank to convert for the dsv will add the wing from a prism i just ebayd does anyone know whos inflator fits it, mine is missing plan on keep the stock harness right now but that may change will be using nicads for this units batteries encapsulate then the charging will be done through the sensor feed wire extra conductor eccr controller costs lcds 50.00 pics 140.00 op amp boards 75 bits and pieces 50 batttery packs 25.00 connector for sensors 50. sensors 210 time one weekend to build and one to redo the code total 600 us bio pak 240 cost 400 mask cost 140 wings 65 inflator 50 back plate 100 o2 guage 60 dsv 300 bits and pieces 100 already have the regs and tanks using 20cf mount side ways total about 1700.00 us but of course will pool dive as o2 unit next week before mods start. rick miller Last edited by rdmmdr : 28th March 2006 at 19:28. |
