Hi from a new Meg diver

Hi All.

After having completed my certification with Hutch (www.megalodontraining.com - heartily recommended) in the red sea I have ordered my meg and signed up for this board.

Cheers

Welcome aboard - so did you did your course on a borrowed unit rather than your own?

It's a shame Andy and Chris don't join us on the board - but at least we have our very own Meg Instructor on the staff, the one and only decodiver ;-)

The factory was a good experience.. I got to build Megs from the ground up... I wonder who gets the heads I worked on/built/tested.. Unit #300 is just around the corner and gets a cool bottom logo plate to boot..
It takes alot longer to put together a rig than I thought.. Soldering the heads is pretty easy, heat shrinking all the fittings takes alot longer than I expected..
BTW, the new battery boxes now have an added circuit to protect the reed switch..

I also got to dive Leons unit alternate counterlung design, and also had a version of Apecs different than is being sold, but I can not discuss what was different there..

Joe,

Teasing us like that is just plain unfair!

And, I know you can't say what it is. But, how was it to dive?

And, did he say when the larger scrubber would be released?
