| Re: A new Meg in NYC Narced, Thanks for your welcome. You are correct that the SS MegRack is ass heavy. I'm looking forward to April when I'll be diving in the DR with the aluminum rack. All I really wanted is a longer rig with a stable base and a place to attach accessories and argon. The system could not be larger than the dimensions of the double PST HP 120s we dive OC. The tube was the correct length but not stable on the boat or in the shop. I wonder how the SS Rack willl be in cold local waters. Your rack is very nice. How tall is the unit? Is it like a short, fat Faber LP 95? By the way my friend Tom designed this Rack . . . and no, we are not looking to sell them . . . Thanks for your accurate observations . . . I only eat fish eggs raw. Thanks again and if you are ever in NYC give a whistle - this is going to be a great season - Doria trips for the 50th Anniversary, back to the Norness (290') which is the first ship sunk on our coast during WWII, Coimbra (185') - 2nd ship, Spikefish - US Submarine, U-Who etc... I also dive in the Republica Dominicana. The first day of diving and Presidente is on me. Which rebreather do you dive? Be well, Jeff |
