| Gone diving!! Current Rebreather/s: | Aloha Hi - great site After lurking around for a bit, I thought it was time to play and come out of hiding. Those who know me know I value really good rebreather discussion. Until recently there was some very valuable discussion on YD on CCR topics but heavy moderation of both rebreather chat and banter between friends (by non Rebreather divers!!) and suppression of personalities (banning/censoring) has killed this. It is excellent to have noted some fantastic Rebreather discussion is emerging on these boards. I genuinely think this board will, over time, evolve into the best RB resource on the web, already there is a great diversity of discussion here and NO heavy moderation when the topics get heated, which it is inevitable they will do given the subject matter. I have been diving rebreathers for several years and my particular interests are in cave diving and finding unexplored shipwrecks. CCR is a great tool for these applications. I am interested in improving CCR training both in the UK and overseas. I am also interested in physiology/diving medicine and decompression theory. After an extensive period of self-teaching, I eventually completed Module 1 CCR several years ago in England and I am also a certified trimix CCR diver. I do not believe that the current training frameworks are adequate for CCR diving. Stuart, would it be possible to create a CCR training forum so we can specifically discuss aspects of rebreather training? I have already submitted some photos to the gallery, I will submit some more, time permitting. I am interested in the application of dual/triplicate CCR also. A particular interest of mine relating to CCR diving is analysis of physiological symptoms and increasing safety on CCR by learning to recognise warnings of physiological changes. Off to Malta tomorrow, I look forward to participating in some great Rebreather discussion on these boards on my return. Regards ![]() AnneMarie

| Gone diving!! Current Rebreather/s: | OK you may buy my silence with a few beers in Sharm If you wanna stay a few days extra we could do some deep stuff, we found what appears to be the entrance to a massive cave/canyon around 120/130 m, biiigg wall, I would like to go back and explore that, time permitting or else a trip to Dahab if you fancy it. Is Ahmed joining you this time? And what Rebreather are you taking, tell tell tell Look forward to new dates for U533 ![]()
