Hello From Nevada, USA

I have been a lurker now for many months and decided to come out into the light. I drive most weekends at Lake Tahoe (both on the Nevada and California sides) The shallow water temp during the summer is nice (mid 50' to 70's) but get below a 100 feet and it drops to 39 F or 4C year around so we do a lot a dry suit diving up here year around. A lot of neat things to see if you know where to look and have the right mix to get down to it. Hope to see some of your up here this summer.

I keep forgetting that there is more Nevada north of Las Vegas.

Forgot Tahoe's elevation, but it's elevated.

Hi Stefan-

Elevated and then some! Lake Tahoe is in the ball park of 6000 ft elevation.

I cannot speak for other rigs, but w/ the Meg/ APECS 2.xx electronics, part of the calibration sequence is to tell it what your elevation is. It takes it from there.

All those Double D cups around here make even the Sierras seem smaller.
