Another Newbie saying hello

Just a quick hello to introduce myself. I am Ian Griggs and have been diving with the inspiration since 2004.
We all know the inspiration has its foibles and takes forever to setup...but I still luv 'em.
Im working towards getting my level 2 so will be calling on you all for help, advice and hopefully to buddy with me for some Dorset diving.
Im a hopelessly addicted wreckie with Poole and Weymouth being my No 1 destinations. I am a part owner in 'Easy Tiger', an offshore 27 dive boat which is currently out of water having a 300hp motor fitted for a bit of ooomph. Enough plugging.
I started diving in the early 80's whilst on a 'business trip' to the BRITISH Falkland Islands. My employers thought it would be good if I cleared up lots of explosives some nasty Johny-Foreigner left behind. ahem. I kept up the diving back in civvy street being a BSAC advanced diver and assistant instructor. I bought the inspiration after having a try dive at good 'ole Stoney and trained with a great instructor Matt Robinson. I cant recommend him enough. He's at www.mrdiving.co.uk if anyones interested. I have no diving politics and I dont mind who I dive with as long long as they're safe.
I hope to meet some of you soon and join you on a few dives.
wish you all safe diving.

Ian

Re: Another Newbie saying hello

Thanks for the welcome Mike,
I didnt expect to hear from Mexico. Had a look at your site, the diving in your country looks tremendous....I hope one day to get out to your neck of the woods. I now know who to contact when that time comes.
regards Ian
