![]() | Re: mark mckee Whoa there Mark, or as they say over there, wise up big lad! Wait till I see you in June and have a chance to set up your KISS properly :-) If I were you, I would go for the Luxfer 1.5lt alloy - godive 45gbp each I think without valve or 59 gbp with, or diving niknaks have them listed slightly cheaper, but seem out of stock. Those 1.5lt roughly correspond to the recommended 13cu ft AL cylinders that are really nice on the Classic. See you in June, and if you need any more advice let me know, ha ha. By the way, over here in the frozen north, aka Canada, we all dive dry, and anybody I know who dives a KISS here, use Aluminium tanks. Even low pressure 14's.

![]() | Re: mark mckee With a membrane suit and layered underwear, a titanium travel backplate (just under 2lbs neg), I only need a 10lb P weight with Luxfer AL 13's which are neg. If I could find a manufacturer who would make me a long form heavy BP, I could do away with the P weight altogether. Which brings up another question, I have only dived the Classic in fresh water, and I have a trip home to the UK planned for June. I know salt is 3% more buoyant than fresh, but is there an easier way to work out how much extra weight I will need?
