![]() | A newbie to this world...in a years time... Gathering info before the big jump. I'm looking at machines that would give +/- 5 hours of autonomy. For now, the Meg has most of my attention but I do have a fascinatioin for the Ouroboros.

Plenty of info to gather, took me years ... need to bridge the gap in my account, anyway. Might as well not let the time go to waste. Another thing to do, if possible, are Rebreather Intros on units you're intrested in. Even some you may not, as they are fun, you learn quite a bit and it helps with the wait. ![]()

I've already tried the Inspiration and it should be not too hard to try out the Prism. I hope to visit Matt someday and dive in his waters, they must be phantastic. He's a good bloke, met him in L.A. a few years back. While you're at it, you might as well give the O2ptima a spin. I for one am quite curiuous about that design, and how it compares to it's competitors in the market. Too bad Curt and his travelling Rebreather Circus doesn't have access to all RBs and travels full time. ![]() Best job I've seen yet to introduce people to rebreathers. If you get it straightened out with Matt (he's on the board here, too, as 'mattmexico' ) feel free to add a little write-up to our library. A complete newcomer's experience can be as much an insight as everyone else's, especially for divers who just toy with the idea.
