Norway calling...

Hi!

I have been diving for 2,5 years and took a SCR course this summer on a Dräger Dolphin. Have 10-15 dives on it, as I don't have my own breather yet. Want a CCR (unfortunatly Santa did not bring one...), and have tried the Inspiration in Sharm 1 year ago. Are looking at the Evolution or a Meg. Hopefully I will have the chance to try them out in Sharm this spring

Have looked a bit around on this site and find it very helpful!

Hi Anne, welcome to Rebreather World.
Norway sounds really, really cold ... especially on a sunny California day.

A CCR is a step up from the Dolphin, either Evo or Meg. Good luck.

Welcome aboard Rebreather World. We have strong Dolphin, Meg, Inspo, and Evo groups here on RBW, as well as almost any other Rebreather you can imagine (and some you can't

)!

Good luck with the hunt... I was due to have an Evo, but went for the Inspo Vision instead; although I have been rather tempted by the Meg recently

Whichever one you decide the guys on here are the ones to ask...

Hello Anne.

If I should by a new CCR again, I think I would go for Megladon.

First time I got a look on it was on my CCR course.

But for now I stay on my KISS.
By the way welcome, and if you are near Skien take your gear with you

Live in Oslo though so If you are around, just tell!

(Although I will probably wait a while since I had a really cold dive last week 2oC, and with all this snow it is for sure not getting warmer...

Hi Anne, you are from törnsberg, then perhaps you know Terje Viken, if you do give him my regards. He is a great guy and he dives the YBOD.

Cold dive, Well today vi had 5cm Ice and freezing water down to 5m.
Depth was 35m total time 50min, with nice temp around 6 degrees.

Went under water about 20:00. Night dive is just fun.

Er i Oslo 4/2 kanskje vi ses

BTW: Terje Viken is a nice guy, and know som places to dive in Tønsberg :-)

I know Terje Viken just by name, as I have tried to book some boat-trips with him. Unfortunately without luck so far, but if I meet him I'll say hallo

Looking forwars to go to Sharm 5. Feb to do some warm and comfertable dives with the Dolphin
