![]() | Gday from Oz Hi I am new to this site. I do not have a Rebreather kit at the moment, as I am trying to weigh up the pros and cons of it, as I don't know to much about them, so I thought i would ask the people who know best, so any insight will be appreciated. I know that the setup is expensive and time consuming, and I know some of the benefits, staying under a lot longer, blowing no bubbles (I especially like this idea sometimes I don't like to be seen. I only know of 1 person at my local dive shop that has a Rebreather Certification, so buddies are in short supply. As you can tell from the title I am from Australia, Gold Coast Queensland to be exact, lovely part of the world always warm. Water temp doesn't get below 18 C Any helpabout rebreathers will be appreciated, if you would like to know more about me just ask. Goodbye from Oz Aquaman 1970 |

| Go Nude Or Go Home Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Gday from Oz Hi Aquaman Have we met ? There is a large Rebreather group in Brissy through Dive Dive Dive, I am sure Jason will post here. They have plenty of breathers up there, Inspo, Optima, Evo, Sport Kiss and homebuilds. I am down in Byron and Dive a PRISM, and Sport Kiss from time to time. If you are down this way drop me a line, I dive through SunDive and you are welcome to take my rig for a splash in the pool. Cheers Chris

As you may have noted, our members are a friendly group, and very willing to share information, as long as you are willing to learn. Our thanks to Chris, for his very warm welcome and offer to help you get a pool try-out! Have fun, read up, ask questions, and continue on your journey to the "Dark Side" of diving, young Jedi!
