| Sentinel for sale/feedback Hi I am about to take delivery of my Sentinel. It will be my first Rebreather, I am IANTD Trimix trained and PADI incstructor. Due to the credit crunch since ordering the unit I am suffering and was considering cancelling it until things improve, one of my slight trepidations to stretch myself is I have seen little in terms of feedback on one yet? Has anyone used one much yet and can they give me feedback. ALso, if anyone looking to get one and fancies a £1000 discount..then please contact me B |

| Re: Sentinel for sale/feedback If you want some feedback from an instructor that is close to you, you should contact Paul Toomer, Diving Matrix | Paul Toomer Technical Diving, who will be more than happy to speak with you and alleviate any of your concerns regarding the performance of the unit. | Re: Sentinel for sale/feedback Hi There's no reason to worry about lack of feedback.I am about to take delivery of my Sentinel. ALso, if anyone looking to get one and fancies a £1000 discount..then please contact me B There's out there around 100 units yet. Sorry but a question came automaticly: why did you choose the only unit with this lack of feedback? Did you ever have a try dive on any unit? Anyway, the unit is really nice to dive. The WOB is ok at the beginning and great when you find the perfect volume of the single CL. The trim is perfect with 2 x 1,5 kg on the top pockets. I won't say that it is idiot proof but it is really close to that. Easy and fast to pack and really really water tolerant. Some sharp edges will destroy your fingers at the beginning but then you will have the habits (no more fingers :D:D). The only cons I don't really like is the BOV, it work but it is bulky. It's personal, anyway for my dives outside courses, I take it away and dive the unit without it. Best of everything of course is the great service the factory give to customers. Hope this help.:) Nad |

| RBW Member | Re: Sentinel for sale/feedback Hi there, Sorry to hear that you are unable to take delivery of the unit. Seems to be a lot of it going around. If you can do anything to get that money, I assure you that it is the nicest CCR I have ever dived. Not only that, but the after sales care from Kevin Gurr, Freda, Al and all the other people down there is incredible. I am out on mine at the moment in Gozo and I'm in heaven. Also thanks to Kevin for the comment. Paul |

| Re: Sentinel for sale/feedback I was talking to JP Taylor last night and hes owned a Classic Inspo and Vision and now has the Sentinal. He said he loves it and that he considered the experiance of running one easier than the Vision.. Not much help I know but its the first direct user review i have had myself. ATB Mark |

| Re: Sentinel for sale/feedback I m just learning on no 84...traded my inspiration in for it...It weighs a tonne but is absolutely brilliant underwater...I definitely prefer it to the inspo. Takes a bit longer to set up than the inspiration though definitely. |
