| New Member The last time I used a rebreather was in the mid 1990s at Key West Naval Air Station, FL. I recently got a complete Draeger LAR V with the Secumar Life Preserver and all the bottles in the aluminum military deployment case. I need some help putting it back into operation and getting it tested. The last time it was used was in 1992/1993 (based on the stamps on the bottle) |

| Re: New Member Just an update and some pictures. It looks like the Draeger LAR V unit was never used (although the O2 bottle was). There is no wear on any of the straps, fittings, or hoses. The Secumar Life Preserver looks like it also was unused (other than the bottles), with no wear on the straps or clips. I've attached some pictures of both units as well as the aluminum military deployment case and the identification label. |
