Re: hello

Simon,

Just curious, how do you keep the HUD stem from rotating when mount over the Krolak DSV connector ?

I just got the same DSV and still deciding on how to mount the HUD stem.

I was thinking about simply adding the 2 half inner hose clamps and small locking ring to the outside of the DSV connector just to have a place to mount of the HUD.

Thanks

Sounds like my connector has smaller OD than yours since it spins almost freely on mine...

Thanks!

Yes, thought about it. Except it is a little messy when it's time to take the connector off.

I will try to use inner tube sections over the connector to build its OD first since it is less messy and more friction.

Re: hello

Hi Simon

Where abouts in Menorca are you based?

Used to be semi-resident over there in S'Algar, sold up last year and back in the UK... haven't been over this year, buying a rebreather saw too that But get extremely homesick for the island

Anyhow, welcome to Rebreather World and Enjoy

Its a good thing we know what he's talking about isn't it, out of context... well...

In the UK we have these Velcro cable wraps you can buy in dive shops (although 1/4 the price and bigger/longer in Car accessory shops) to hold hoses/cables together.
They'd certainly build up the OD without being messy and very easily put on or taken off- inner tube can be abit of a pain to keep taking on and off when wet/salty.
