Hi All,

After far too long I've finally got around to setting up my own photo website, while not strictly Rebreather a lot of them were taking while wearing my yellow box.

Question: I notice that you have been diving off Dubai and live there. Is there any diving there now? every time I have been through Dubai this year I have wanted to do a quick dive there, but the local dive shops are telling me that there is no local diving due to bad visibility because of construction on the islands.

Is this true? I would love to dive in Dubai, but dont have time to make the long journey to the Musandam or Oman which is what the local dive shops are offering. Any hints would be welcome - I really dont care about poor visibility being an UK diver... Theres always plenty of critters on the bottom.

Hi Andy,

The Dubai side is still very poor we only dive it as we are the local BSAC club so have our own boats and can go where we want and will spend more petrol than the comerical operators. (Also no paying punters to complain about sh1t viz.)

We always welcome guests at the club, even if you don't have time for a dive we do have a private bar full of brass
