Introduction Hello.Ive decided to sale most of my open circuit kit and buy a classic Inspiration. I have this day dream that Im stood on the shore at St Margrets bay with a yellow box on my back and scooter in my hand. I find one of the many local wrecks grab afew lobsters and head back to the beach and feast on there flesh... Mmm Im off to scapa for a weeks diving next week. I think this will be my last open circuit diving. Then I will try and learn more about rebreather from you lot. These rebreather things sound great where do I start... Thanks with Regards Rob Last edited by trebor : 24th August 2008 at 22:08.

Read up as much as you can, and don't hesitate to ask Questions here in the Forum. Plenty of nice folks here willing to help. Well, I wish you all the best with a speedy sale of all your OC gear and your transition over to the "dark side" of diving ![]() Again, welcome on board. cheers, RBN

Re: Introduction Welcome to the Dark Side Trebor. I would encourage you to wait before dumping all your OC gear. Allot of it will still come in handy for CC. Carrying a fully independent bail out cylinder with its own 1st and 2nd stages, spg and low pressure inflator is standard practice in CC. Also, if you end up with a more open architecture rebreather like the Megalodon or Hammer Head, or choose to rebuild an Ambient Pressure rig (Inspiration or Evolution), things like a backplate+harness, additional regulators, hoses and a wing could come in handy.

Re: Introduction Hello everyone, I'm sorry, but I speak very little English, please forgive me. I began only in this new world without bubbles, I made only 2 dives with an IDA 71, now that I have taken gout, I think to start a submatix would be nice. Manu ![]()
