| Bitter Sweet intro Good Day,(kind of) Hello everybody, just wanted to say hello. I have to admit I found this site due to the accident on the Doria two days ago.I had some friends on a expedition that day, I was trying to find out info on this, but I am glad I found this site. I just starting to dive CCR. I bought a evoulve-plus. Planning on training next week at wreck fest, with Richie Kohler. Well anyway, to the folks that knew the person who tragically lost their life on the Doria. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Happy Diving Jim. |

| Re: Bitter Sweet intro Hi Jim, Welcome to Rebreather World!Regretably you found this site becasue of less than ideal circumstances, but at least your here now, because the site is an invaluable resource to any rebreather diver.Since you're new to the rebreather thing, definitely get as much information from your instructor as you can, then once you've completed your training, don't be shy about posting questions here, because we're one big happy family that loves to share our experiences, that way we all learn in the process. You picked a great place to get certified. I live approximately 120 miles North of the Keys and have dives there quite often since the min-eighties. So far, the weather forecast looks great for the Keys up until next Tuesday. I plan to be there Monday diving the Wreck of the Northern Lights, hopefully we'll get a chance to say hello! Best of luck with your new toy! Adrian
