| Hiya from Dahab Hiya all, I suppose I'd better introduce myself. I'm Peter. I've returned to diving after a 5 or 6 year break and I suspect things have moved on a bit in terms of the number of rebreathers 'out there'. Most of my diving has been around Plymouth in the UK. I dived with both Plymouth Sound BSAC and the RN Plymouth Command club and previously completed just over 500 dives. Anyone I might know on here? I've always been painfully aware of the limitations and agricultural nature of open circuit SCUBA and the benefits of diving with near ideal PPO2. I did a Draeger Dolphin course with Joint Services at Fort Bovisand many years ago and just loved the silent (ish) diving and stable buoyancy. So I've just got back into diving having moved North and away from the sea. I've joined the forum purely to see what's going on in the re-breather world no more than that - at the moment. Presently in Dahab in the Sinai having done my Scuba review and two days diving. I've over a week of diving to go and it's great to be back albeit in a fairly tame PADI environment ![]() So I'll be lurking somewhere near you. Peter |
