| Hello from Rebreather friendly Charter Boat Hi, I am Captain Pete with the Charter Dive Boat "Deep Relief" (Home :: Deep Relief II Dive Charters) located in Pompano Beach, South Florida. One of your fellow members stopped by to ask about our boat. Our charter operation started in March 2007, and have grown every month since. We would love to have some input concerning the needs of the "rebreather community". I am open to suggestions to make your diving adventure the best it can be. We are a customer based charter. We would love to have you dive with us. Flat seas and warm water, Capt. Pete |

| Re: Hello from Rebreather friendly Charter Boat Are you equipped to run technical trips with decompression to the deeper wrecks? Are you open to very long NDL runtimes on shallower dives? Say up to 3 hours. How fast is your boat? Time to run to say the Hydro Atlantic, Miller Lite, etc? What setup are your benches? Pictures please. The biggest problem that we've seen with some boats is the ability to bench rebreathers due to tank racks that have round tubes or square recessed bins. The best benches seem to be just flat with bungee racks to tie in to. Thanks, Eric

Send us your information, and we will add your boat to the list. Then, we can schedule an official "rating" dive. Welcome aboard! |

| Re: Hello from Rebreather friendly Charter Boat What is your knowledge of CCR diving? It seems many Captains/Operators are afraid of CCR if they are uninformed about them. Also how accommodating are you on a mixed trip of OC divers and CCR divers?Often, a few of us will book a trip already loaded with new(er) open circuit divers, which is scheduled to dive something shallow. Some area boats , if the dive sites allow it, will let us do one long runtime on the reef, and let us skip the surface interval, while the OC divers do 2 drops on the reef. Other area boats seem to be nervous of CCR, and require we surface along with the OC divers, regardless if the site allows it. I think you would find that, with the exception of Dsix, all of the CCR divers in this area are safe and careful. |
