| Hi all, I have found myself pondering the CCR option of diving with a lot of my friends/acquaintances already well into the rebreather life. I do not know a whole lot about Rebreather's but am definitely willing to learn. So the main reason for having signed up here is to find information about any/all rebreathers; which ones do what, maintenance, filling, depth limits etc Inspiration, Ray, Poseidon, Evolution....??? There are more and more choices opening up with the rate of technology upgrades... I have been diving for about 12 years in Cape Town and am an IDC Staff Instructor through PADI. I am looking for new challenges and options to further my diving career. |

I would definitely take a look at the Meg - Very popular and versatile rebreather. Also, I dive an Dive Rite Optima, which I absolutely love, but I would tell you to make sure whether or not you can easily obtain the Extend Air Cartridges (EAC's) it uses before I'd give it any serious consideration. Best of luck to you and welcome from Florida in the USA!

| Re: Ahoy Welcome to the group. Use the search tool for the site to help looking up past thread that we have had. Then ask questions and decide which rebreather is the best tool for the style of diving you wish to do.
