![]() | Introduction from Mehdi-Saman hello Forum, my name is Mehdi-Saman from Dubai. I decided to start with bubble-free rebreather diving after conducting about 400 dives on open circuit. My instructor already ordered my Inspiration Vision and i am looking forward to start as quick as possible although i have no idea of what kind of new diving this will be for me. We are a bunch of guys in Dubai who do technical diving each weekend and my buddies already dive the inspiration since a long time. My first question is already regarding the loop cover: What is more recommended neoprene cover or the ones made out of cordura? I guess the neoprene ones might give too much positive boyancy? Best regards, Saman |

Just guessing a neoprene loop cover would seem to keep the loop warmer by stop as much heat lose though the hoses. I find the cordura one work very well to protect the loop and are easy/cheap to replace should you need to replace them.

![]() | Re: Introduction from Mehdi-Saman I would guess that with neoprene cover the hoses of the loop might get too positive boyant and may be stiffer? Is there any manufacturer out who is selling the covers in different colors beside black, like yellow or red ? I saw the heavy duty covers from Oxycheq, anybody in the forum who has experience with them? They just offer 2 covers but what then with the other 2 rubber hoses who are exposed? |
