![]() | Re: Aloha from the middle of the big pond :) Aloha, Tim. I am sure you will have fun during your training. Taking the class with Brad @ B&B Scuba? With a CCR, shore diving in Hawaii can take on a whole new meaning. Those old two-tank shore dives may even start to get irritating Yup - Brad @ B&B. He has done quite a bit of my training, and if all goes well, this coming Saturday will be my first silent dive. This also makes my dream of a 5-10 hr dive much simpler to accomplish . (I'm thinking a 10 hr dive to celebrate dive #1000 coming up later this year ... we'll see)Welcome, Tim! I didn't see you sneak in here, for some reason. This is a great site, and a wonderfull resource for CCR divers; I think you'll enjoy it. Hey Nailer - yeah, I was avoiding you ... j/k - I agree that it is a wonderful resource. Mahalo to everyone for the warm welcome ![]() Aloha, Tim

It's just too bad you didn't start a month ago when the whales were still around strong, nothing like a bubbleless dive being serenaded by whale song. Are you thinking about an Inspriation Classic or Vision? Either is a great choice but I really like diving my Vision. If you're out on Oahu look me up, the shop I work for is a rebreather friendly shop and we're busy creating dives to cater to CCR divers, it gives me a chance to dive my Inspo at work. Aloha, -Chris

Bob - how about Mala to the Carthaginian all in one dive? (maybe not) It'll be fun seeing you both again next year ![]() Aloha Tim and welcome to the silent side. Are you thinking about an Inspriation Classic or Vision? Either is a great choice but I really like diving my Vision. Was out freediving today (Scooters and freediving are incredible!) and the whales were singing quite loudly still - some of the most beautiful whale song I've heard this season, if not the loudest. If you're out on Oahu look me up, the shop I work for is a rebreather friendly shop and we're busy creating dives to cater to CCR divers, it gives me a chance to dive my Inspo at work. Aloha, -Chris I 'think' it's a classic Inspo (the vision has built in decompression computers right?). If/When I get my own I'm leaning toward a CMF like the Kiss, Copis or a similar homebuild. Welcome, I thought I was from the other side of the pond, growing up in Ireland ? Different ponds, and I think your island is a wee bit colder than mine ![]() Aloha, Tim
