![]() | Another one to the Dark Side Hi, as many people now, I too have transitioned from OC to a rebreather. It took me two years to finally take the plunge, after many debates, fears, thinking and posing the pros and cons ... But definetely OC was not the tool I needed anymore. I had the Kiss Class end of feb and ever since I am enjoying any time I can spend on my new unit, CK # 341. ![]() I am currently in the process of learning but I found it is much easier than I thought, especially the trim and the bouyancy ... I love the easiness and the solidity of the Kiss, very nicely built unit. Now I need some time to get really confortable with it, so that all becomes second nature. And configure it best for my future use.In the meantime, I will keep reading this forum and learn, practice and practice more. Cheers Cris |

![]() | Re: Another one to the Dark Side Thank you All for the welcome messages. Welcome on board Cris ! Well, a set of double 18s, 1 scooter and 5 stages is currently the max I can do on OC ... Can you elaborate a bit ? What type of dives to you intend to undertake that you couldn't safely do on OC ? The logistics of gas management just becomes ridiculous with extended bottom times, deep diving and long cave dives ... ![]() |
