Thank you Jacques for your insight ... I guess what we have done just fits our needs so far, YMMV.

Personally I like it a lot, because the changes made the configuration very clean and the weight balance much better.
I am so lucky, Caverkevin had been researching and trying things for the past 5 years. I just tagged along at the end of the journey

Can't wait to come back to the Lot now

It appears you know better than I. Like Christian, I enjoy the freedom of CCR. The freedom to operate with different ideas and concepts than other divers. If there was only one right way, there would be only one rebreather. To each their own.

Sounds like things are getting expensive..... with both of you doing CCR'S now..... but I envy you at least you have a live in dive buddy..... I got to get me one of them one of these days...... I don't think my wife will like it but I know I will dive more

Hey Freddy !

We saw some red fire AL80s the other day, I want one to match the red Kiss sticker and the red webbing on the hose clamps

Kevin got red lungs, so he might have to fight over who gets the red flame stage

We did another dive yesterday and things are getting better and better.
I was amazed by how much one can hear now without all the bubbles around.
Also it's unbelievable how close we can get to the fish. I can't wait to try it in the Ocean with the big pelagics we have up here

And how warm I was during the whole dive. I love it !

Hey Heather !

Give us some time and we'll come to dive Marianna with you and Brian.
We have never been there and I still remember what you and Duane told us about the caves there ...

So far even diving the quarry for practice, I can see huge benefits in the thermal confort and gas logistics. Not having the easy access to a compressor or even a booster, it's nice to be able to fill small tanks by transfilling only.
The only drawback I see so far is the extended gear prep and maintenance. But hey, we don't own a TV, so we have time for this

Going forward, with long dive times and extensive dives it will be all worth it.

Glad to have seen you and Kevin at Ginnie.
We knew you'd love the Rebreathers, we know we have tons of fun with ours.

Now comes the hard part (IMO), traveling with the darn things and making sure the TSA doesn't get in the way of fun...
